Tonight on the way up the stairs to go to bed we were playing "Police Woman". Taylor was the police and Rilee and I (Jason) were the criminals. Our conversation went like this:
Taylor: You bad guys come with me!
Me: We didn't do it! Why are we under arrest?
Taylor: You blew the house down and now you're going to jail.
Rilee: We want our lawyers!
Me: Yeah you heard Rilee, we're lawyering up!
Taylor: Well all of the lawyers died when the house blew down. You're going to jail!
Me & Rilee: But we didn't do it!
Taylor: Well when the house blew down we saw somebody with a black face.... that must be you.
So she has the makings of a great cop. Don't you wish that your child was this aware of complex race issues and social injustice?

Sending your child to school is sure to give you lots of good laughs and maybe even a few good head shakes. What can she say...Jason is her dad!

LOL!!! you guys crack me up! We miss you soo much. We were talking about you guys the other day, remembering the good ole days, and decided that you were a hard couple to replace. We are still going the resumes of possible replacements but it doesn't look too good :) We'll have to take some time off next year and come to see you guys and the new babe! I sure hope its a boy!
